What Is Still Preventing the Armed Forces of Pakistan from Supporting the Muslims of Iran Against the American Crusaders and the Jewish Entity?

The Muslims of Pakistan are in severe pain because of the attacks by the United States and the Jewish entity upon the Muslims of Iran. These attacks are like those in Gaza. These brutal attacks did not spare the children, the women and the elderly and they did not spare the schools and playgrounds. Truly, the believers are like one body, as the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said,

«مَثَلُ المُؤْمِنِينَ في تَوادِّهِمْ، وتَراحُمِهِمْ، وتَعاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الجَسَدِ إذا اشْتَكَى منه عُضْوٌ تَداعَى له سائِرُ الجَسَدِ بالسَّهَرِ والْحُمَّى»

“The believers, in their mutual love, compassion, and empathy, are like a single body. If one part of it is afflicted, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.” [Muslim]. So, it is natural to ask, why did the armed forces of Pakistan still not move in support of the Muslims of Iran?

There is nothing to prevent the Pakistan Army from the angle of the Islamic ‘aqeedah (doctrine). The Muslims of Iran are the brothers of the Muslims of Pakistan. The bond of Iman is the strongest bond on earth. It is the Islamic ‘aqeedah that made Salman the Persian, the brother of Bilal the African, Abu Bakr the Arab, and Sohaib the Roman, may Allah (swt) be pleased with them all. Allah (swt) said,

[إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ] “Indeed the Muslims are a brotherhood.” [TMQ Surah Al-Hujarat: 10]. The Islamic ‘aqeedah nullifies the divisive nationalism, that prevents unity of Muslims.

There is nothing to prevent the Pakistan Army from the angle of Islamic jurisprudence. The founder of the Hanifi school of thought that is followed by the Muslims of Pakistan is Imam Abu Hanifa. Imam Abu Hanifa was a student of Ja'far al-Sadiq, the founder of the Jafari school of thought, which is followed by the Muslims of Iran. Al-Bukhari said in his History of Islam, (حدث عنه: أبو حنيفة) “Abu Hanifa narrated from him.”

So let this nullify sectarianism, which also obstructs unity of Muslims. There is nothing to prevent the Pakistan Army from the angle of people-to-people contact. Pakistan has the second-largest Shia Muslim community in the world, after Iran. There are strong, centuries long ties between the Sunni and the Shia within the region. They all perform Salah (Shariah prayer), undertake the Sawm (Shariah fasting) of Ramadan and stand in worship of their Lord in the night during the Blessed Month!

From the angle of geography, Pakistan has a 909-kilometer (565-mile) border with Iran. This border demarcates the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, from the Pakistani province of Balochistan. Were Pakistan Army’s XII Corps to announce Jihad from Quetta, by the time it reached the border, it would be strengthened by tens of thousands of men, from both sides of the colonialist artificial border.

As for the angle of the international community, there is deep division between the major powers over the American aggression on Iran. The European powers are vocal in their rejection of the American military violations. As for Russia, on 6 March 2026, the Washington Post reported that Russia has provided critical intelligence to Iran about American military assets. As for China, it is anxious over oil supplies and has opened channels with Iran.

As for the angle of the regional regimes, there is no value to any agreement with the agents and followers of the West in the Gulf. These rulers are like all the rulers of Muslims, who restrain the armies of Muslims from supporting the Muslims of Gaza. They restrain the armies of Muslims even though they are far larger in number than the troops deployed by the US. On 5 March 2026, the American general, Christopher C. LaNeve, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, confirmed that only 108,000 soldiers are deployed or forward-postured across 160 countries, with 91,000 of these troops in Indo-Pacific. What is this small number compared to the millions of soldiers of the Ummah, and hundreds of millions of brave men?

As for the current fighting between Muslims, it is not a prevention of the Shariah obligation to support Muslims in their Deen. In addition, regarding the fighting between army of Pakistan and the mujahidoon of Afghanistan, the nature of Jihad is that it nullifies enmity between Muslims, through anger against the enemies of the Ummah. Jihad also nullifies desire for reciprocal revenge, because of the powerful desire for victory and martyrdom. It is a similar case for the fighting between the army of Pakistan and the fighters in Balochistan in Pakistan. In addition, these fighters have strong tribal ties with the Muslims in Sistan and Baluchestan in Iran. The mobilization in Jihad against the American crusaders and the Jewish entity will unify the Muslims in a way that will strike fear, before the fighting even starts.

As for the claim of the military leadership of Pakistan, that its strong personal relationship with Trump will prevent harm to Pakistan, it is more fragile than the web of a spider. The alliance of Musharraf with George Bush Jr, and his strong personal ties, did not protect Pakistan from huge losses in wealth and lives. It did not even save Musharraf from being replaced by the next American agent, when America found no use for him. So how is the case of Asim Munir, his personal ties with Trump, and his alliance with the US any different? Allah (swt) said,

[مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ]

“The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of a spider who takes an abode. And indeed, the weakest of abodes is the abode of the spider, if only they knew.” [TMQ Surah Al-Ankaboot: 41].

O Muslims of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran!

We are brothers who have been in mutual enmity for too long. We have been divided by nationalism and sectarianism. Our division has only benefitted our enemies, the American crusaders, the Jewish entity and the Hindu State. We know of the divide and rule policy of the British colonialists in the past, so how do we not see the divide and rule policy of the American colonialists now?

We did not act in support of Gaza. Now we are not acting in support of both Iran and Gaza. Let us make sincere repentance in the month of Ramadan by returning to obedience of Allah (swt). Let us unify, establish the ruling by the Book of Allah (swt) and mobilize in Jihad, within the month of victories!

Hizb ut Tahrir is with you, within you and between you all. Do the righteous deeds with it, so that the Deen of Islam dominates over all other ways of life, even though the disbelievers detest it!

O Muslims of the Armed Forces of Pakistan!

You are the strongest military force of the Ummah, and so you bear the greatest responsibility before Allah (swt). Do not enter the fire of Jahannum on account of the American agents in your leadership. Remove them and grant Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Take the initiative so that you earn the pleasure of Allah (swt) and His wide Jannah.
