Isn’t it time for the Pakistan Army to Liberate Kashmir?!
(Translated)

News:

India has announced a raft of measures downgrading its ties to Pakistan, days after gunmen killed 26 people in the tourist town of Pahalgam in the disputed region Kashmir. India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told a media briefing on Wednesday that cross-border linkages of the April 22 attack in Indian-administered Kashmir had been “brought out” and that the government had decided to act against Pakistan.

In response, the office of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced its own retaliatory measures against India, including the closure of airspace to all Indian-owned or operated airlines and the suspension of visas to Indian nationals under the SAARC program. The office objected to India’s move to suspend the Indus waters treaty, warning that Pakistan would consider any attempt to divert water as an act of war. (Source: Aljazeera English, 23 April 2025)

Comment:

Setting aside the political analysis of the motives behind this action, especially given that no well-known group has claimed responsibility for the attack that killed 26 on Tuesday, and took place in a Muslim-majority region, whilst the attackers raised an aspiration to unify with Pakistan.

Pakistan currently controls the smallest portion of the Kashmir region, whilst Kashmir is claimed in its entirety by both India and Pakistan. Kashmir is an area which experiences various degrees of tensions, with hot and cold spells. It is an Islamic land by Shariah, but disputed between India and Pakistan. Kashmir was internationally granted the right to self-determination. However, India usurped this right from its people, occupied them by force, and imposed martial law since the “independence” of Pakistan from India in 1947. This has sparked a resistance movement among the Muslims, that has lasted for decades.

Instead of supporting this resistance, and pressurizing India to comply with the right to self-determination granted to the region’s people, the Pakistani state abandoned them, and left them to face their sworn enemy alone. Due to the Pakistani establishment’s treacherous stance toward Kashmir and its people, India has become emboldened, not only towards Kashmir and its inhabitants, but toward Pakistan itself. The issue of threatening the shared water resources between the two countries is but one example of this boldness.

India continues to test the nerves of Pakistan and its people whenever an incident or killing occurs along the border. Sometimes by closing dams on the rivers, threatening thirst and drought in Pakistan, and at other times by opening them to flood its people and destroy crops and livestock. This only happens because of the leadership of Pakistan adopting a weak stance to such flagrant contempt, despite being a nuclear-armed state.

The Pakistani deep state limits itself to performing military parades and chanting patriotic slogans at the border between the two countries, cheered on by crowds that applaud these theatrical displays. Such theatrics neither deter an enemy nor intimidate an aggressor. Sadly, there remains little expectation of meaningful action.

Despite the announcement by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday evening via the platform X that the National Security Committee, comprising senior civilian and military officials, would meet on Thursday to respond to the Indian government’s statement, no appropriate response is expected from this committee, or the establishment in general.

We have grown accustomed to their reactions, which rarely go beyond condemnation, denunciation, and weeping at the steps of the United Nations, an institution that is biased in favor of kufr and its allies. The UN has never granted justice to any Muslim cause in the Muslim World. The cases of Kashmir and the Blessed Land of Palestine stand as the clearest testimonies to this unjust bias.

These recent events present a golden opportunity for Pakistan to annul all peace and normalization treaties with India. and to liberate Jammu and Kashmir, unifying it with Pakistan, especially at a time when the Western world and China are preoccupied with each other. However, such action is unlikely under the current leadership, which is seen as negligent and treacherous to the causes of the Ummah, including the causes of Kashmir and the Blessed Land of Palestine.

Therefore, the sincere lions amongst the ranks of the Pakistan Army must purge their leadership of the spineless elements, jackals amongst men, and grant their Nussrah (material support) to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate), which will lead the nuclear-armed army to liberate all Muslim lands from occupation, and restore the entire Indian Subcontinent as an Abode of Islam, and under the caring guardianship of the Muslims. Indeed, this will come to pass soon, in shaaAllah (swt).

The sincere must only fulfill the Shariah obligation that Allah (swt) has placed upon them, so that they do not miss the honor and reward of the Conquest of Hind (Ghazwa e Hind), about which the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,

«عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ، وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ»

“There are two formations of my Ummah, that Allah (swt) has protected from the Hellfire. One is a formation that will conquer India. The other is a formation that will be with Isa, son of Maryam (as).” (Reported by Ahmad).
