Whoever Rejects Supporting the Muslims of Iran and Gaza on the Basis of Nationalism, Let Him Prepare Himself for a Seat in Hellfire
News:
On 20 March 2026, the media wing of the armed forces of Pakistan stated, “Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, interacted with Ulema of Ahl-e-Tasheeh community at Rawalpindi where matters of national security and role of Ulema in societal harmony came under discussion... Violence in Pakistan, on the basis of incidents occurring in another country, will not be tolerated.”
Comment:
At a time when the Muslims of Iran are facing an American crusade, the military commander of the sixth largest army in the world, and seven largest armed forces, gathered the ulema of the Ja’afari school of thought. These ulema are an important community, because the largest population of Muslims from the Ja'afari school outside of Iran, is in Pakistan. This gathering of ulema took place after protests against the colonialist institutions within Pakistan, including the American embassy and consulates. In fact, 23 protesters were killed in clashes in Pakistan, including 10 in the port of Karachi where security guards at the U.S. Consulate fired on demonstrators who breached the outer wall, 11 in the northern city of Skardu where the crowd torched a U.N. office, and two in Islamabad.
After Trump declared his crusade against Iran, it was upon the rulers of Pakistan to have closed the US embassies and consulates themselves. It is well-known they are surveillance outposts, critical for American military operations within the region, including Iran depriving them of power, tearing down their communication towers and expelling their staff. Had the rulers done so, there would have been no need for the Muslims to protest. Instead, the rulers of Pakistan are the defenders of the colonialist security infrastructure. This is regarding the mention of “violence in Pakistan” by Munir.
As for Munir’s saying “on the basis of incidents occurring in another country,” it is a rotten nationalistic26 statement. The Islamic Ummah is one, and the lands of Muslims are one. There is no value in Islam whatsoever for the nationalistic borders that divide the lands of the Muslims. All the Muslims of the world feel pain when they see attacks on Gaza, Iran and Lebanon. Moreover, as believers they must feel pain. The nationalistic narrative of Munir and his henchmen is rotten and must be rejected. For some time, this ruling faction has been terrorizing and threatening the students of Pakistan, visiting universities and saying that those who love Palestine, should go to Palestine. Now, it has adopted the stance that those who love Iran, should go to Iran. Indeed, it is a rotten nationalist stance.
The division of the lands of Muslims on the basis of nationalism and tribalism is forbidden, whilst their unity under one Imam or Khaleefah (caliph) is an obligation. The esteemed Alim, Badr ud Din Al-Ayni Al-Hanafi, who died in 855 AH, said in “Umdat al-Qari Sharh Sahih ul-Bukhari” that, “As for the saying of the Prophet (saw) who said, «مَا بَال دَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّة؟» “Why call to Ignorance?” It means, do not call upon the basis of tribalism. Instead, call for unity upon Islam. Then he ﷺ asked, «مَا شَأْنهمْ؟» “what is the matter with them?” It means, what happened to them, and what is the reason for that. As for his saying, «دَعُوهَا» “Leave it,” it means leave this stance, that is, leave it, or leave this claim. Then he (saw) clarified the wisdom of leaving it, by saying, «فَإِنَّهَا مُنْتِنَةٌ» “Indeed it is rotten.” It means it is ugly, reprehensible, hateful and harmful, because it incites anger upon what is not right and fighting over falsehood, drawing towards Hellfire, as stated in the hadith,
«مَنْ دَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ جِثِيِّ جَهَنَّمَ» “He who summons to what the pre-Islamic people believed belongs to the assemblies of jahannam”
O Muslims of Pakistan, their Ulema, and their Armed Forces!
We stand in one valley, with the Muslims of Iran, Lebanon, Palestine and Kashmir, whilst the rulers of Muslims stand in another valley, with America, the Jewish entity and the Hindu State. Nationalism has divided us and has weakened us. It forbids assisting Muslims in need, and commands fighting between Muslims. It is becoming clear to all of us, day by day, that there is need for change. The change must include a change of the rulers, but not only change in the rulers. Change must include removing the nationalistic, secular systems of ruling governance, along with the rulers. Changing the rulers alone will not bring real change, as we saw in the Arab Spring, the fall of Bashar in Syria and the fall of Hasina in Bangladesh. The only way to bring a real change is to have a comprehensive system which is the same nature of the Islamic Ummah, and its Deen. That system is the Shariah ruling governance, known as the Imamate and Khilafah (Caliphate). It is upon all of us to work with Hizb ut Tahrir, which has prepared the entire blue print of Shariah ruling governance, including a draft constitution with the Shariah evidences.
