Yunus-Tarique London Accord is an Attempt to Maintain the Dominance of the US and their Oppressive Secular Capitalist System

On 13 June 2025, the head of the interim government Dr. Yunus, sitting in London, has disappointed the people by making a political compromise with Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) because the people of this country have not forgotten the history of misrule and corruption of the BNP ruling classes. In fact, this Yunus-Tarique political compromise and power sharing are part of the plan of the USA, through which they will be able to implement the colonialist projects. You have witnessed that former US ambassadors Dan Mozena, Bernicat and Peter Hass, have all welcomed this compromise and expressed satisfaction, and according to news reports, BNP has also proposed to make Dr. Yunus as the president. Through the fall of the tyrant Hasina, the people of this country expressed their desire to be free from the oppressive capitalist system and the domination of the Western Kafir Colonialists. This kind of compromise is nothing but betrayal of the people of the country.

We, on behalf of Hizb ut Tahrir, want to warn the interim government and the political medium that the people of this country will never tolerate any conspiracy to establish the domination of the Kafir-Mushrik states in this Muslim land. They should learn a lesson from the fall of the hated ruler Hasina. Allah (swt) says,

[الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِنْدَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا]

“Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely” [Surah An-Nisa: 139]. Therefore, the interim government should create the right political environment in order to reach a political consensus based on Islam, people’s interests and protecting the country’s sovereignty, so that the hopes and aspirations of the people is truly reflected and fulfilled. Allah (swt) says,

[إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ]

“The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy” [Surah Al-Hujurat: 10]. Therefore, we should unite the people by forgetting our differences, and rejecting the disbelievers and polytheists.

O people, after fifteen years of movement, struggle and many sacrifices, you have brought down tyrant Hasina, the fruit of the Secular-Capitalist system. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (ra), that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said «لَا يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ مَرَّتَينِ»“A believer does not stung twice by the same hole” [Sahih Bukhari and Muslim]. Therefore, you must not be stung again by the same hole of the secular-capitalist system through political compromise and power-sharing among the ruling classes loyal to the West, especially America. We must reject the circus of so-called state reform and be active in the comprehensive change of the state. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said«... ثم «تكون ملكًا جبرية فتكون ما شاء اللّه أن تكون، ثم يرفعها إذا شاء أن يرفعها، ثم تكون خلافة على منهاج نبوة. ثم سكت»“...then the rule of tyranny will end; and then there will be Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood” [Musnad Ahmad]. With the aim of implementing this good news of RasulAllah (saw), we must establish political unity to establish the Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood. Only through the establishment of the Khilafah, Islam, the interests of the Muslim Ummah, and the sovereignty of the Muslim lands will be protected, Insha'Allah.

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life”[Surah Al-Anfal: 24].
