A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan Meets the President of the Sudanese Bar Association and Its Leadership

On Thursday, 9/7/2026, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, headed by Ustadh Nasir Ridha Muhammad Othman, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, and accompanied by Ustadh Abdullah Ismail, Member of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, and Ustadh Yaqoub Ibrahim, Members of Hizb ut Tahrir, paid a pre-arranged visit to the office of the Sudanese Bar Association in the city of Port Sudan.

The delegation met with the President of the Sudanese Bar Association, Ustadh Lawyer Zain al-Abidin Muhammad Hamad, who was accompanied by:

1. Ustadh Lawyer Jamal al-Din al-Nujoumi, Member of the Human Rights Services Committee.

2. Ustadh Lawyer Imad al-Din Abdul Khaliq, Head of Mobilization and Martyrs' Affairs.

3. Dr. Lawyer Salah al-Mubarak, Head of Human Rights at the Bar Association.

4. Dr. Lawyer Omar Al-Sayyid Omar, Head of University Affairs at the Bar Association.

5. Ustadh Lawyer Issam al-Din Othman, Member of the Office of the President of the Bar Association.
After the welcoming remarks, Ustadh Nasir introduced Hizb ut Tahrir and explained its objective, which it strives to achieve together with the Ummah: the resumption of the Islamic way of life through the establishment of the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He stated that this objective should be the objective of every Muslim, since working to implement the Shariah of Allah and establish authority on the basis of Islam is an obligation upon all Muslims. Ustadh Nasir supported his remarks with Islamic evidences.

This was followed by positive interventions from those present. The President of the Sudanese Bar Association then thanked the delegation for its visit and for its concern regarding the issues of the Ummah. He concluded his remarks by stating that there was no disagreement with Hizb ut Tahrir regarding the issue of the Khilafah (Caliphate), which is the objective of every Muslim.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed the importance of maintaining communication.
