The Mirziyoyev Regime Practices the Most Heinous Methods of Repression Against Muslims in Zarafshan Prison!

According to the news and reports we have received, there are systematic violations and psychological and physical pressures being practiced against detainees in Prison No. 12 in the city of Zarafshan in Navoiy Region. This abuse specifically targets the members of Hizb ut Tahrir imprisoned behind bars because of their steadfastness upon saying “Our Lord is Allah,” as they are subjected to humiliating provocations aimed at undermining their dignity and humiliating them.

The oppressive regime has once again directed its filthy claws toward the shabab steadfast upon the Deen of Allah, especially those still languishing in Correctional Institution No. 12 in Zarafshan. The crimes committed this time not only contradict human values, but surpass even animal instincts in their ugliness, as they involve vile provocations aimed at crushing human dignity and dishonoring personal honor.

The head of the operational department in the institution, Lieutenant Colonel of the State Security Service Mahmoud Huseynov, along with his aides, continues to use vile methods to subjugate steadfast prisoners whose release dates are approaching, with the aim of extracting forced “repentance” from them and breaking their will. Among these brothers are Asad Allah Ishboltayev and Sodiq Khojayev, against whom what is called “the green substance provocations” are being practiced. This is a filthy performance imitating the policy of the tyrant Islam Karimov, based on threatening the prisoner with sexual assault during sleep in order to force him, under this horrific threat, to write fake “letters of repentance.”

These practices reveal the true face of the authoritarian regime and the depth of its hidden hatred toward Muslims. The policy of playing both sides, which this regime pursues today by throwing itself at times into the arms of colonialist Russia and at other times into the arms of crusader America, is the origin and essence of these injustices. At a time when Russia practices the harshest forms of humiliation against Muslim migrants, and while Donald Trump sheds the blood of the Islamic Ummah in Gaza, Iran, and Sudan like rivers, the Mirziyoyev regime seeks their approval by repressing its own people and fellow Muslims with the vilest and most degrading methods.

O Muslims in Uzbekistan: While your brothers behind bars are fighting a bitter battle to preserve their honor and dignity, this oppressive regime sitting upon your chests, continues to use every form of oppression and intimidation to preserve the pillars of its collapsing rule.

O Muslims in Uzbekistan: Your brothers behind prison bars are not only facing physical torture, but are also subjected to moral violations aimed at humiliating their dignity. Since these oppressors know that honor and chastity are more precious to a Muslim than life itself, they have concentrated their treacherous blows upon this sensitive point.

Demanding the rights of our oppressed brothers in Zarafshan Prison and other detention centers, exposing these injustices to the world, and working to establish the justice of Islam is a religious and moral obligation upon every one of us.

The oppressors neglect the plan of Allah and the cries of the oppressed, while Allah Almighty says:

[وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ] “And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.” [Surah Ash-Shu‘ara: 227]. And He almighty says:

[وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ]

“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].” [Surah Ibrahim: 42].

O People of Power and Strength, and O men of the security services: This worldly life is temporary and vanishing, while the punishment of the Hereafter remains. The colonial powers such as Russia and America, which stand behind this regime you serve today, are nothing but enemies of Islam and the Muslims.

In conclusion, we affirm that these filthy crimes committed in Institution No. 12 in Zarafshan will not pass without accountability. We are responsible and answerable for every tear shed by our oppressed brothers and for every one of their usurped rights.

And we remind the Mirziyoyev regime and its torturers that every authority built upon oppression will inevitably end in collapse and downfall. The horrific torture and the games of the so-called “letter of repentance” will never prevent the revival of the Ummah. Soon, by the permission of Allah, everyone who participated in these crimes will certainly be brought to accountability and justice.

Allah Almighty says: [وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقاً] “And say: Truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.” [Surah Al-Isra: 81].
