Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan: Events Marking the Observances of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH

To observe the rituals of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and honor the noble Prophetic Sunnah, Hizb ut-Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan organized a procession of "Takbir" and "Tahlil" on Monday—the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH. The procession set out from the gate of the party’s office in Port Sudan, moved along the main transport thoroughfare, and proceeded to the Grand Market, eventually gathering at the Al-Haramain Hotel square—the city's venue for political addresses. Along the way, a large crowd of the Ummah joined in, chanting "Takbir" and "Tahlil" alongside their brethren; they rejoiced at the party's initiative and praised this activity as unique within the country.

Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan organized an Eid al-Adha gathering in Khartoum. On Saturday—the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, corresponding to May 30, 2026—the party’s office in Wilayah Sudan was filled with well-wishers, including party members, supporters, and allies who had flocked from the capital’s three cities (Khartoum, Bahri, and Omdurman). Ust. Ibrahim Othman Abu Khalil, the Official Spokesperson for Hizb ut-Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, delivered a moving address. He extended greetings to the Emir of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Rashta, and party members worldwide, while also conveying congratulations to the entire Islamic Ummah on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. In his speech, the spokesperson also addressed the political and military situation and the consequences of the American-instigated war between its two agents in Sudan; he exposed America’s criminal plot to secede Darfur and its efforts to entrench its military and political agents in power. Ust. Ibrahim Othman Abu Khalil warned against this scheme, stating that it would only be halted through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.

In the administrative capital of Port Sudan, young members of Hizb ut-Tahrir gathered at the party’s office on Saturday, the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH—the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, corresponding to May 30, 2026—to exchange greetings for this blessed occasion. Those present listened to an address by Ustaadh Nasser Rida, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan. In his speech, he conveyed greetings to the Emir of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Rashtah; as well as to the Head of the Central Media Office; the heads of media offices worldwide; and to Dawah carriers; and the entire Islamic Ummah. Afterward, the Shabab exchanged congratulations and sent greetings to their fellow Dawah carriers, praying to the Almighty for their steadfastness and asking Allah (swt) to bestow upon humanity the Rightly-Guided Caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood—the cause for which they strive.

Amidst an atmosphere of joy and sincere brotherhood, members of Hizb ut-Tahrir gathered at the party’s office in the city of Al-Qadarif on Saturday, the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH—the fourth day of Eid al-Adha—to exchange greetings and well-wishes, united by love for the sake of Allah (swt)—bound not by lineage, but by the single, pivotal cause of the Muslim Ummah. Members focused on  resuming the Islamic way of life through the establishment of the Rightly-Guided Caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood. Yet, the joy of Eid did not make them forget the suffering of the Islamic Ummah: from Sudan and wounded Gaza to Iran—abandoned by Muslim rulers—and the relentless aggression by the Jewish entity against Lebanon and other Muslim lands. These issues, and others, drove them to renew their resolve to restore the Ummah to its former glory, praying that Allah (swt) grants honor to the Ummah and hastens the establishment of the Rightly-Guided Caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood.

In the city of El Obeid, Shabab of Hizb ut-Tahrir held an Eid greeting gathering on Friday—the third day of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH—at the home of Ustadh Ahmed Wad'a, a member of the party. During the event, the congratulatory message from the party’s leader (Amir), the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Rashta, was read aloud, alongside the message issued by Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), the official spokesman for Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan. The gathering was well-attended, and the engagement was excellent.

Meanwhile, in the cities of Kosti and Rabak in the White Nile State, Ustadh Abdullah Adam Mohammed Raji-Allah opened his home on Jazirat Aba to the Dawah carriers and their supporters on the morning of Friday—the third day of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH. The Shabab exchanged Eid greetings and discussed the background of the wretched war currently unfolding in Sudan, as well as global events that herald a momentous shift destined to transform the entire world, Allah (swt) willing. In their remarks, they renewed their pledge to work earnestly toward resuming the Islamic way of life by establishing the second Rightly-Guided Caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood. They also extended Eid greetings to the party’s leader, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Rashta, the members of his office, all party departments, their brothers in Wilayah of Sudan, Dawah carriers across the globe, and Muslims everywhere.
