Sudan’s Health Minister, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, said that tens of thousands of Sudanese have been infected with dengue fever and other diseases, while seasonal rains burden infrastructure and hospitals damaged by the conflict. The Ministry of Health reported that it recorded more than 2,000 cases of dengue fever nationwide in the past week.
