Islamabad, Pakistan, is hosting the Ninth Session of the Ministerial Conference on Women of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on 12 and 13 July 2026, with the participation of approximately 190 representatives from 57 countries. The conference, which is being held without any representative from the government of Afghanistan, is examining women’s education, empowerment, and participation.

The strength of the Muslim army during the Uthmani Khilafah (Ottoman Caliphate) was such that it fought the European Crusader armies en masse, to the point that by the mid-15th century it had shattered their dreams of establishing a European military alliance capable of threatening the Khilafah.
