With believing hearts in Allah’s decree and destiny, and with more sadness and sorrow, members of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Kuwait mourn the Ustadh and political thinker Fawzi Nasser (Abul-Abd), who passed away on the morning of Wednesday, 6 Sha’ban 1443 AH corresponding to 9/3/2022 CE, at the age of 85.

The country is occupied these days with frantic calls for the election of new candidates for the Ummah Council, after the issuance of a decree by the emir to dissolve the previous council and the call for new elections to be held on Saturday, 26/11/ 2016.

Tuesday the 21st of December, the Court of Cassation issued a verdict endorsing the imprisonment of both brothers, Abdullah Ar-Raashid and Abdul Aziz Al-Munayyis for a period of three years and four months enforced imprisonment and labour.
