The United Kingdom has had 3 Prime Ministers (PM) and 4 Chancellors of the Exchequer (Finance Minister) over the past 3 months. The ruling Conservative Party (Tories) are languishing in the opinion polls as much as 30% behind the opposition Labour Party which itself is populated by politicians lacking in experience and standing to lead the country.

Politics has always been a medium that repels mature and sincere people who are reluctant to delve into public money. People advised each other to stay away from politics so as not to get stuck in its mud and into the rampant corruption in it.

The current political turmoil in Pakistan is fundamentally not confined to conflict between Imran Khan’s PTI and the PDM’s government. It is not even confined to a struggle between factions of the powerful military establishment. The political turmoil has wider implications. It widens to facilitating US objectives and interests in this region, at this time. This is regardless of whether this facilitation is by deliberate design, or by unfortunate, regrettable…
