Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Thursday 17 October 2024 that Russia is preparing to deploy 10,000 North Korean troops to fight against Ukrainian forces, citing intelligence information, according to him. Zelensky demanded strong international reactions to what he described as North Korea's greater involvement in the war with Russia.
