European Foreign Ministers Visit Syria with Blood on their Hands while Western Media Debate Handshakes

The French and German foreign ministers, Jean-Noel Barrot and Annalena Baerbock, visited Damascus on the 3rd of January to meet with the leader of the new Syrian administration Ahmed al-Sharaa. During the visit, they proposed to assist in drafting a new constitution for Syria, protect minorities and secure a peaceful transfer of power.
