India's joint secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, JP Singh, in a meeting with the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan has said that New Delhi intends to expand its relations with Kabul in the political and economic arenas. In this meeting, the Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi appreciated India's humanitarian aid and called for strengthening relations between Kabul and New Delhi. The spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on his X handle that JP Singh has expressed his appreciation over ensuring security, countering ISIS and narcotics. Also, Zabihullah Mujahid, the main spokesperson of the current government, has said: "The two sides discussed the relations of both countries in diplomatic and economic areas. India is one of the important countries in the region and the Islamic Emirate wants to have good relations with India."

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Afghanistan declares the following points to the current rulers and the Muslim and mujahid people of Afghanistan in this regard:

1. The Government of India has always intended to play an active role in Afghanistan. This role has elevated further as the new US mission in the region has launched so far. The US wants to see India's rise in the region, especially in the context of China's containment policy. That's why, the US and the West keep turning a blind eye regarding the crimes committed by Modi's government in India, to help India fulfill its political, military, economic and intelligence role as an ally to the US in the region. In fact, India's role in South Asia is similar to that of “Israel” in the Middle East.

2. Out of two political partners (India and Pakistan), the US has opted for India. The impact of this preference on Afghanistan, however, is that India is trying to get closer to the Government of Afghanistan under the name of economic and commercial ties, while Pak-Afghan relations are deteriorating day by day. In fact, the American policy is that India should take the leading role among countries in the region aimed at confronting China – a policy that requires India to be rid of the disturbances caused by its historical rival, Pakistan. This is the very reason that Pakistan has recently intensified its hostility against Afghanistan. The treacherous political and military leadership of Pakistan is continuously cooperating and complying with the said American policy.

3. India aims to have a prominent role in the American policy of engagement (the carrot & stick approach) with the current Authority of Afghanistan. Over the past three years, the United States has been attempting to impose its policy on Afghanistan through countries of the region and the Middle East so that the government of Afghanistan shall completely integrate into the wider secular world order. In this context, the Western countries and those of the region and Middle East are the two sides of the same coin.

4. In addition to maintaining close ties with the child-killer ‘Israel’, Modi's government also carries out terrorist acts and antagonistic policies against Muslims similar to that of ‘Israel’. Modi is red-handed with the blood of Muslims as he has kept orchestrating the massacres of Muslims, and he is now acting upon the religious cleansing policy not only in Kashmir but all over India. The Hindutva government wants to remove the rituals, values and even relics of Islamic civilization in India. From insulting to Prophet Mohammad (saw) and his spouse Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (ra) by BJP members to organized harassment of Muslim women by Hindutva followers, and to destroying the Baburi Masjid with the aim to rebuild a Hindu temple on its site – they are just few examples of the Modi government’s heinous demeanor. The Indian government is the only occupying power in Kashmir – it does not hesitate to suppress, torture, kill, desecrate the Hijab, abduct and rape Muslim women.

On July 29, 2023, the Indian Minister of Home Affairs confirmed that since 2019, a total of 9,765 women have gone missing in Occupied Kashmir, of which 1,148 were girls under the age of 18.

Ultimately, the US wants to see the so-called Islamic countries help strengthening the role of India in the region by establishing good relations with it, guaranteeing the Indian government's political influence, legitimacy and survival. This is similar to how the treacherous rulers of Islamic lands in the Middle East have extended their relationships with “Israel” under the pretext of the so-called ‘Economic-oriented’ foreign policy, justifying the Israeli’s heinous crimes and genocide in Gaza to ensure Israel’s survival. On the other hand, any kind of friendly relationship with actively belligerent governments, enemies, invaders and killers of Muslims is not only against the principles of Islamic political practices (Sharia), but it is also causing confusion among Muslim communities as who their real enemies and friends are. Since Muslims want to know their friends and enemies, this would only happen when the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Islamic Caliphate) is re-established. The Caliphate, whose foreign policy, on one hand, is based upon expanding Islam through Jihad and Dawah; and is allied with Allah (swt), the Prophet (saw) and the sincere believers (Muslims) on the other. In the foreign policy of the Caliphate [under the method of Prophethood] the friends and foes of Muslims will be clearly defined – with the oppressed ones receiving Nussrah (help) and support while the oppressive regimes and rulers being threatened, intimidated and suppressed.
