Congratulatory Message of Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Afghanistan on the Occasion of Eid-ul Fitr!

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Afghanistan congratulates all the Muslims of the world on the arrival of Eid-ul Fitr. With the end of the month of mercy, forgiveness and deliverance from hell fire, we humbly pray to the Most Merciful to accept the fasting, prayers, devotions, alms and struggles of all Muslims and open the gates of goodness (Khair) and blessings, Nussrah and victory to the Muslim Ummah.

Eid is a time of joy and happiness for Muslims, but this year, series of horrific incidents took place in the Islamic world that only understated this occasion of happiness but also put the Muslim Ummah in one of the darkest periods of its history. In the last six months, the people of Gaza suffered infinite heart-wrenching incidents – as for the first time the world could watch the deliberate crimes and genocides not in the pages of history books, but directly through live television broadcasts. Unfortunately, with the full demolition of Gaza, killing and wounding more than a hundred thousand people, the dead consciences of humans have not yet been revived. The killing machine of Zionists continues to massacre Palestinian children and women with the blatant support of US, UK, the EU backed by the treacherous rulers of Islamic lands.

What can be seen in the heart of this dark and sad period is the light and hope that the people of Gaza have shown to the world through their firm patience and perseverance. The people of Gaza, with their perseverance and struggle in this severe temptation, introduced Islamic values to the world anew and proved that a nation that sees the Hereafter as greater than this world and prefers the satisfaction of Allah (swt) to the glamorous sustenance of this world is the strongest of all. As the military tanks and planes of the Zionist entity could destroy the cities and buildings of Gaza, but not the iron will of its people. History will remember the bravery of the mother who was grateful and proud for the martyrdom of her child instead of crying and lamenting – seeing it as a joyful incident.

On the other hand, the incidents in Gaza revealed that the Ummah does not want imposed borders and deceitful rulers. As scores of young Muslims from several countries were seen trying to enter Palestine by feet. Also, the crimes of the Zionist entity showed the true face of colonialist governments, institutions and rotten Western values and proved that the West is grappling with a deep crisis of morality and values – shall there be any in the West!

Once again, we ask Allah (swt) to make this Eid the beginning of goodness, blessings and victory for Muslims, so that we can celebrate the coming Eid under the glorious shadow of the Second Rightly Guided Caliphate (Khilafah Rashidah) under the banner of the Flag and Raya al-Aqab. Hizb ut Tahrir, with the instruction and Tawfiq of Allah (swt), continues its intellectual and political struggle aimed at awakening the Islamic Ummah to ensure true unity through establishment of the Caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood; and it won’t be afraid of blames of any kind through its sacred struggle.

[فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ]

“Those who believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.” [Al-Araf: 157]
