Women Section of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh Urges the People to Work for Re-establishing the Khilafah

The women's section of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh organized a seminar today on the topic ‘Political and Economic Future of Bangladesh: The Need for Khilafah "Caliphate".' Two talks were delivered in the seminars. The first talk was on the topic ‘Failure of the Current Ruling Elite and Government System' and the second talk was on the topic of ‘Khilafah "Caliphate": the Only Correct Leadership and Government System.' The first talk was delivered by Dr Mrs K Nasreen and the second talk was delivered by official spokeswoman of the party Mrs Fahmida Farhana Khanam.

In the first talk Dr Nasreen said for the past 37 years Bangladesh has seen democratic rule, dictatorial rule, military rule, and emergency rule. In these systems the politicians and the ruling elite are sovereign and tyrannical. They are not bound by any law and they are not accountable to anyone. They do not take responsibility of the people. Furthermore the current ruling elite serve the imperialists whether the system is democratic, dictatorial, military rule or emergency rule. Dr Nasreen said Muslims have to reject the designs and prescriptions of the imperialists who are enemies of Islam and the Muslims. She also urged the people to reject the current ruling elite who served these enemies and turned their back to Islam as a political ideology by insisting on ruling by the imperialist dominated secular political system.

In the second talk Fahmida Khanam said Khilafah "Caliphate" system will establish in power the correct leadership which is sincere and responsible; which has not been tainted with the corrupt political establishment; and a leadership who do not serve Washington, London and Delhi. She discussed in detail the Khilafah "Caliphate"'s method for establishing a stable government system, securing the basic needs of the people, developing a self-reliant economy and protecting national security. She ended her speech by urging the people to work for re-establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate" which is a vital shari'ah obligation on the Muslims.
