Hizb ut Tahrir in Britain demonstrated against the continued division and impotent reactions of the Muslim rulers. Hundreds in London and Birmingham came out in support of the dawah to re-establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the way of Prophethood, and to utilise the Muslim armed forces for the benefit of the Ummah, instead of the colonialists.

A teacher at a grammar school in Batley, West Yorkshire, has been suspended for showing his RE (religious education) class offensive cartoons of the Prophet (saw). He goaded the students to complain to their parents, which al-Hamdulillah they did, claiming that his British values allow him to be offensive in this way.

This year throughout the month of Rajab, Hizb ut Tahrir has organised a global campaign to draw attention to the centenary of the destruction of the last Islamic State, the Khilafah (Caliphate) at the hands of the colonialists.
