London Protest at Pakistan Embassy: Condemn assault on Swat, Condemn US attacks in Afghanistan

Hundreds of protestors will demonstrate in London this Saturday [9^th May 2009] in opposition to the ongoing assault in Swat, the latest US killing of over 100 Afghan civilians and Zardari and Karzai's collusion with the US's war in the region.

Taji Mustafa, media representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain said, "Zardari and Karzai are in Washington applauding US engagement in the region as US  warplanes kill over 100 Afghan civilians and the US backed assault in Swat leads to the shedding of more Muslim blood and the displacement of upto 500,000 civilians. The root cause of this bloodshed is Obama's expansion of America's war on terror and Zardari and Karzai's collusion with the US against their own people."

 "Demonstrators will demand the immediate cessation of the assault against the oppressed Muslims of Dir and Bunir and that the Pakistan government abandons America's war of terror and stops unjustly spilling the blood of Muslims in order to further the American agenda. The time has come for sincere people in Pakistan to re-establish the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" state to replace these rulers - a government that will have an independent policy, that will not be a slave to the west."
