Tengrinews.kz website correspondent has quoted from the press service of the Almaty City Court, that five members of Hizb ut Tahrir were sentenced. According to the court, each of Mukhit Musokhozhanov, Askhat Sarsenbayev, Yerbolat Ospanov, Kuanysh Botbayev and Onlasyn Duisembayev, had participated in the party's meetings in Almaty that promotes extremist ideas and specifically changing the constitutional order through violence and to establish an Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate".

Lenta.ru site reported on 30/07/2014 from the Russian Interfax news agency that the Moscow City Court sentenced four members of Hizb ut Tahrir. They are: Azizbek Inamov (age 37), Shamil Ismailov (age 40), Saypula Kurbanov (age 34), and Zikrullokhon Rakhmonkhodzhaev (age 38); whom were accused of terrorist activities that are banned on Russian territories.
