Press Release
Tyrant I. Karimov Died, But the Regime Remains!
From early morning on 14th November there began mass searches in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, in the houses of Muslims in one way or another connected with the political party Hizb ut Tahrir. The searches were held for several days, as a result more than 80 Muslims were detained. After the long interrogations, 7 Muslims were arrested. During the interrogations they asked about the involvement in Hizb ut Tahrir.
The arrested are the relatives of one of the first shahids of Hizb ut Tahrir in Uzbekistan Farhad Usmanov, may Allah have mercy on him. In particular, his wife Musharraf Khudoiberdiyeva was arrested. Also the relative of Farhad, Uzakova Nasiba, her daughter Umida, Umida’s husband and their son Muhammadamin were arrested. All of them are placed in the basements of the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent, and they are not allowed to meet for more than a week, and were not allowed to be handed food and clothes and were banned from having lawyer visitations.
On 16th November, the police on behalf of the officials of the Ashonguzar ROVD (District Department of Internal Affairs) of Tashkent Nuriddinov Ibrokhim, as well as an investigator Sukhrob Bakhromovich, searched the house of Dildora Agzamova’s family, after which her son Nasrulloch was detained. Since the moment of her son’s detention, and until today she can not get any information about where her son is, although, before delivering to ROVD, the investigator Sukhrob Bakhromovich promised Nasrulloch’s mother that her son would come back in an hour. Also, there is no information about Rashodov Muhammad Abdukarimovich arrested by the Uchtepa ROVD of Tashkent for more than a week.
These searches and arrests, as well as the fact that Hizb ut-Tahrir shabab spent 20 years in Uzbekistan’s prisons have not yet been released, clearly indicate that with the death of the tyrant I. Karimov, there is no changes in the country, but the taghut regime continues its crimes.
The new president of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in order to get relief from the imposed sanctions on Uzbekistan from the world community under the rule of I. Karimov, is trying to deceive the people and the world community that he allegedly changes the country’s political course. The so-called human rights protecting organizations, representatives of the UN on human rights, high-ranking officials from the European Union have visited the country, international conferences are being held and many other things, but all this is a show!
In the taghut prisons of Uzbekistan, under the tacit consent of all the above organizations and states, they continue to torture and kill Muslims, to persecute Muslim women, which now can not even go out wearing headscarves, being afraid to be arrested and being publicly stripped. The mothers of those sentenced openly say that their children who are sitting in prisons are tormented by pouring boiling water on their genitals only for the fact that they carry out the prayer, as it recently happened in prison No. 64/46 in the city of Navoi.
O Muslims of Uzbekistan! Our Lord is Allah (swt)! Our Prophet is Muhammad (saw)! Our religion is Islam! Our welfare and salvation is only in Islam! Do not be afraid of taghut and his servants. Allah (swt) is with us! Hasten to destroy this tyrannical regime! to the ground Join Hizb ut Tahrir and work on the reestablishment of the righteous state of the Khilafah (Caliphate) by the method of Prophethood as it holds your salvation and in it is your dignity and revival!
