Conclusion of the 104th Anniversary Activities of the Destruction of the Caliphate
(Translated)

With the grace of Allah, we conclude the activities commemorating the anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate), which we began at the start of the month of Rajab. The 28th of this month marks the anniversary of its destruction at the hands of the British agent, Mustafa Kemal.

The events held by the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir to mark this painful occasion took various forms worldwide. These included public outreach and media engagements, such as lessons, khutbahs, lectures, conferences, recorded speeches, public addresses in squares and streets, as well as the publication of statements and articles by the Hizb’s media representatives.

These activities reminded Muslims of the great calamity they suffered with the destruction of their Khilafah and how every aspect of their political and daily lives continues to bear the brunt of its absence. The events also shed light on the proposed solutions to the Ummah’s crises under the soon-to-be-established Khilafah, which the Muslim world is currently struggling to bring forth.

Members of Hizb ut Tahrir across the globe urged Muslims to join their relentless efforts to establish the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. This call comes especially at a time when the urgent need for a state that defends Muslims, protects their blood, and preserves their honor has become evident. The recent war of genocide against Gaza and all of Palestine has made it clear to everyone how the rulers of the Muslims and the Sykes-Picot borders are at the root of the weakness, humiliation, and defeat suffered by the Ummah.

By the grace of Allah, the Muslim Ummah is now closer than ever to achieving its goal of re-establishing the Khilafah. We ask Allah that this year does not pass before He grants us the nusrah (material support) of people of power and strength who will give Hizb ut Tahrir their backing to announce a Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood, one that unites us, grants us victory, and implements Islam in our lives.

[وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ]

“And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors” [Surat Al-Qasas:5]
