Congratulations on the Blessed Eid ul Fitr

(Translated)

On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Iraq extends its warmest congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Ummah in general, and the sincere workers for the resumption of Islamic way life in particular, led by the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, may Allah protect him and grant him victory by his hands. We ask the Lord for the return of Eid to the Islamic Ummah with security, safety, and Islam, and to make it a Eid of goodness, blessings, victory and empowerment.

O Muslims: We thank Allah (swt) that we witnessed Ramadan this year, and that He granted us its fasting and qiyam (prayer), we ask Him (swt) to accept from you and us the righteous deeds, and make us all of those freed from hellfire in this blessed month.

At the time when we rejoice in this Eid and with what Allah (swt) promised us as a reward for obedience, our pain is severe, that it is a new Eid, which returns to us as the previous Eids, while we are a torn Ummah and our lands are plundered. Nations have gathered and united its attack on us, as people when eating invite others to share their dish. The worshippers of the cross and the cows, Buddhists and Jews, have summoned to attack us, they would not have dared if this Ummah had an authority and a state.

But, O Ummah of Islam, know that Allah’s promise is true, that Allah’s victory is near, that with hardship comes ease, and that the night of oppression, even if it is long, it is bound that the dawn of the Khilafah (Caliphate) and justice will come, a true dawn that will be achieved by this Ummah which the Messenger of Allah (saw) described as:

«مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَمْ آخِرُهُ» “The parable of my Ummah is that of a rain; it is not known if its beginning is better or its end.”

So, roll up your sleeves, O Ummah of Islam, and hasten to work with the workers to establish the Khilafah and the Deen, the solid fortress of the Ummah, and the crown of the duties of the Lord of the worlds.

In conclusion, we congratulate the Ummah of Islam on the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and we say:

We pray that every year you get closer to Allah (swt)... that every year and the Ummah of Islam is in the best condition.

The last of our supplication is: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
