The Jordanian Regime’s Repressive Security Forces Arrest Member of Hizb ut Tahrir
(Translated)

The repressive security forces arrested Ustaaz Muhammad Ahmad Al-Nadi, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, at the airport last Sunday, the ninth of Ramadan, preventing him from traveling to perform Umrah while he was with his family and children. As is their habit in suppressing the dawah carriers, these forces showed no regard for the sanctity of Ramadan, his advanced age, or the distress caused to his family accompanying him for Umrah.

And then presented him to the State Security Prosecutor, who directed to him two charges: attempting to undermine the regime and belonging to a banned association, and he is still detained pending the Regime Security Court.

The regime in Jordan is still in its old misguidance; a word of truth that Islam commanded terrifies it, and it considers it an undermining of its security. So what is the guilt of Ustaaz Al-Nadi, for which he was arrested, except that he said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained steadfast in calling to Islam? And Hizb ut Tahrir, to which he belongs and which the people of the earth know as a political party that works and calls for resuming Islamic life through intellectual work and political struggle—has calling to Islam now, in the view of the regime, become something that necessitates arrest and imprisonment, while the callers to secularism, immorality, and debauchery are allowed to ascend the platforms and participate in its war against this great Deen?

[وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ] “And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,” [Al-Buruj:8]

These arrests, along with the ensuing trials and unjust rulings, add to the regime's record of oppression and persecution of Muslims. The Ummah will hold you accountable for them in this world, and Al-Muntaqim Al-Jabbar (The Avenger The Compeller), will hold you accountable in this world and the Akhirah. These actions will not deter the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir from carrying the Dawah, working to implement Allah’s Shariah, and exposing the falsehood of these rulers who have pledged their allegiance to the enemies of this Ummah. Their actions, which truly undermine the security of the country, are now exposed and no longer hidden from the Ummah.

[وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَب يَنْقَلِبُونَ]

“And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.” [Ash-Shu'ara:227]
