Visits MP Osama Saad

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Lebanon in the city of Sidon, represented by the member of the Central Communications Committee, Eng. Bilal Zaidan, and the member of the Activities Committee in the city of Sidon, Hajj Hassan Nahhas, visited Representative Osama Saad today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The delegation presented the Hizb’s position on various events, especially the developments in the situation in Syria, Lebanon, and the region in general.

The discussion then revolved around several issues, including:

1- The repercussions of the fall of the Assad regime in Syria on Lebanon and the region.

2- The necessity of conducting reviews of the parties that supported the Syrian regime as a supporter of the resistance, and reconsidering the origin of the reality of the Syrian revolution that broke out in 2011 as a just revolution against tyranny and injustice.

3- The reality of political changes in Lebanon in light of the recent Jewish war on Lebanon.

4- Sensing the outlines of a plan to reshape influence in the region in light of the decline of the Iranian role and the strengthening of the military superiority of the Jewish entity.

5- Not surrendering and accepting the new reality that America is trying to impose in the region and Lebanon, especially since America is only concerned with achieving its interests, plundering the region's wealth, and securing the security of the Jewish entity.

MP Osama Saad and his fellow attendees shed light on several issues, including:

- Accepting change in Syria as a change in the face of a regime that is unjust to its people, and not using provocative speech towards the revolutionaries in Syria, while being careful not to allow the Jewish entity to continue its penetration into Syrian territory and strike the weapons of the Syrian army, which are considered one of the assets of the Syrian people.

- Noting that the change in Syria was coordinated between Turkey and America.

- It is clear that the recent agreement to end the war with the Jewish entity was humiliating for Lebanon and surrenders its sovereignty.

- Despite the changing reality in the region, it is necessary to resist projects and proposals that call for surrender to reality and imposing normalization.

- Continue with the forces of change in Lebanon to stand up to corruption and the forces that will impose influence and subordination to America.
