Gatherings for Khilafah:
Establishing the Khilafah on the Method of the Prophethood is an Obligation (Fard)

The Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan conducted an extensive contact campaign in the major cities of Pakistan, which included gathering the people for Iftaari. The Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir called upon the Muslims to join Hizb ut Tahrir because working to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) is an obligation prescribed by Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw).

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan reminds the Muslims of Pakistan that Islam has mandated the establishment of the Khilafah, which is Islam's ruling system, through which Islam is implemented completely and comprehensively. Allah (swt) directly orders the Muslims to govern by Islam and to not govern by any law other than Islam. Allah (swt) said,

[وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ]

“So govern between the people by all that Allah has revealed (Islam), and follow not their vain desires, beware of them in case they seduce you from just some part of that which Allah has revealed to you” (Surah al-Maida 5:49) And Allah (swt) says,

[وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

“And whosoever did not rule by all that Allah has revealed, such people are fasiqoon” [Surah al-Maida: 47].

It is by the Khilafah State alone that the ruling of Islam is established and the Muslims affairs cared for, for RasulAllah(saaw) said,

«كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ تَسُوسُهُمْ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ كُلَّمَا هَلَكَ نَبِيٌّ خَلَفَهُ نَبِيٌّ وَإِنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي وَسَتَكُونُ خُلَفَاءُ تَكْثُرُ» قَالُوا: فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ: «فُوا بِبَيْعَةِ الْأَوَّلِ فَالْأَوَّلِ»

“The Prophets looked after the affairs of Bani Israel, whenever a Prophet died another Prophet succeeded him, but there will be no Prophet after me. There will soon be Khulafa and they will number many. They asked: what then do you order us? He said: Fulfill the Bai’ah to them one after the other… ” [Muslim]. And RasulAllah (saaw) described the death without the existence of the Khaleefah, as a sinful death, saying,

«وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِى عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»

“The one who died without a pledge of allegiance on his neck, has died a death of (the days of) ignorance.”

Indeed, all Ulema of the predecessors and successors said the pledge of allegiance (bay’ah) mentioned in the Hadeeth is the allegiance (bay’ah) to the Khaleefah ruling by Islam. Thus it is a Shariah priority and an obligation of the greatest and elevated obligations, the crown of obligations, as the righteous Ulema said. And thus Hizb ut Tahrir invites the Muslims of Pakistan to work with it to restore the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method on the Prophethood, so as to earn the Good Pleasure of Allah (swt) and avert His Wrath and Punishment.
