The Ummah Needs its Shield, the Khilafah, as the Crusader Campaign Reaches New Zealand

The caring Muslims of Pakistan were angered by the horrific massacre of dozens of Muslims who attended Jum’ah prayers in two mosques in New Zealand, such that the issue rapidly dominated their discussion in the social media, the public places and the Masajid. Clearly, the centuries-long Crusader hatred has reignited in the West in full fury, extending to all its regions. Indeed, the New Zealand murderer decorated his high-powered weapon with references to centuries-old Crusader conflicts with the advancing Khilafah State (Caliphate).

It is this Crusader hatred which led the United States to announce its crusades against Iraq, Afghanistan and the resistance to occupation of Al-Aqsa and Occupied Kashmir.

It is this Crusader hatred which has fuelled repeated attacks on Muslims and Islam throughout the West. It is this Crusader hatred which fuels the West’s insistence for Pakistan’s rulers to support the continued occupation of Afghanistan through acting as hired facilitators for talks and to crush all support for the resistance in Occupied Kashmir. And it is this Crusader hatred that was completely ignored in the condemnations of Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, which rendered their condemnations without weight, relevance or importance.

O Muslims of Pakistan! Allah (swt) said,

 (وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ)

"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, ‘Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance.’ If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.” [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:120] In the face of the relentless crusader campaign, we are in need of the Khilafah, the shield of the Ummah. Without our shield, we are like orphans throughout the world, easy prey for those who harbor hatred for Islam, whether it is the Hindu State, the Jewish Entity or the Western Crusaders. Without our shield, the Muslims are burdened by ineffective rulers, who count bodies, offer condolences and issue toothless condemnations, whilst fully collaborating with the West in its crusader efforts. However, in the era of the ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed, there was strength and support for Muslims wherever they were. Ruling by Islam compelled Salahudin to move from afar to liberate the Muslims of ash-Sham who were under the crusader occupation. Ruling by Islam compelled Muhammad bin Qasim to move from afar to liberate Muslims in the Indian Subcontinent from the tyranny of Raja Dahir. Ruling by Islam compelled Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir to demolish the formidable empire of the ancestors of the Myanmar Buddhist mushrikeen regime, the Rakhine marauders, in answer to the cries of oppressed Muslims. It is our Khilafah that will raise its protective shield over us and it is our Duty to re-establish it. RasulAllah (saaw) said,

«إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “Indeed, the Imam (Khaleefah) is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.” (Muslim).
