It Has Been a Year Since the Genocide in Gaza Began! The Islamic Ummah and Its Armies Must Re-Establish the Khilafah Rashidah and Liberate Palestine

No number of All Parties Conferences and Days of Solidarity will change anything for the Muslims of Palestine. For an entire year, the current ruling factions of Pakistan have failed in their responsibility towards the Blessed Land of Palestine. The Muslims of Palestine are not in need of solidarity alone. They are in need of the mobilization of the armed forces of the Muslims. Pakistan has the seventh largest armed forces in the world, and the most powerful armed forces in the Muslim World. It has Muslims who love Islam and the Islamic Ummah. However, Pakistan lacks a sincere leadership ruling by the Noble Quran and Prophetic Sunnah. Instead it has rulers that adopts stances on the basis of the thoughts of their masters, the colonialists. There is no hope left in the current rulers of Muslims. The rulers of Pakistan view the attack on the land of Israa’ and Miraj from the lens of nationalism, and call for the Western states to solve the issues. These rulers are following Taghut (non-Islamic authority) for the fleeting benefits of the world. They have neglected the revealed commands of Allah (swt) regarding the enemies of Muslims and Islam for an entire year.

O Muslims of Pakistan! It is an obligation on all the armies of Muslims, near to Palestine and far from it, to mobilize. Allah (swt) commanded,

[وَاَخۡرِجُوۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ اَخۡرَجُوۡكُمۡ‌ وَالۡفِتۡنَةُ اَشَدُّ مِنَ الۡقَتۡلِۚ]

“Expel them out from where they have expelled you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing.” [TMQ Surah Al-Baqarah: 191]. The renowned Hanifi Alim, Ibn Abidin ash-Shami, the author of the Hanifi book “Radd al-Muhtar 'ala al-Durr al-Mukhtar” declared in his Hashiya commentary in the Book of Jihad, وَفَرْضُ عَيْنٍ إنْ هَجَمُوا عَلَى ثَغْرٍ مِنْ ثُغُورِ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَيَصِيرُ فَرْضَ عَيْنٍ عَلَى مَنْ قَرُبَ مِنْهُمْ... فَأَمَّا مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ بِبُعْدٍ مِنْ الْعَدُوِّ فَهُوَ فَرْضُ كِفَايَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ، حَتَّى يَسَعُهُمْ تَرْكُهُ إذَا لَمْ يُحْتَجْ إلَيْهِمْ، فَإِنْ اُحْتِيجَ إلَيْهِمْ بِأَنْ عَجَزَ مَنْ كَانَ يَقْرُبُ مِنْ الْعَدُوِّ عَنْ الْمُقَاوَمَةِ مَعَ الْعَدُوِّ أَوْ لَمْ يَعْجِزُوا عَنْهَا لَكِنَّهُمْ تَكَاسَلُوا وَلَمْ يُجَاهِدُوا فَإِنَّهُ يُفْتَرَضُ عَلَى مَنْ يَلِيهِمْ فَرْضَ عَيْنٍ كَالصَّلَاةِ وَالصَّوْمِ ، لَا يَسَعُهُمْ تَرْكُهُ ثُمَّ وَثُمَّ إلَى أَنْ يُفْتَرَضَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ شَرْقًا وَغَرْبًا عَلَى هَذَا التَّدْرِيجِ “And it (Jihad) becomes an individual obligation (fard 'ayn) if they attack a front of Islam. It then becomes an individual obligation on those who are near to them... As for those who are further away from the enemy, it is an obligation of communal, collective obligation (fard kifayah) upon them, as long as they can afford to leave it, unless they are needed. If they are needed because those who are closer to the enemy are unable to resist, or if they are able to resist but have become negligent and have not fought, then it is obliged on those who are nearest to them as an individual obligation, like Salah (prayer) and Sawm (fasting). They cannot neglect it. This continues until it becomes an obligation on all the people of Islam, east and west, in this gradual manner.” So do not leave a single officer from amongst your relatives and friends, without urging him to fulfill his duty.

O Officers of Pakistan’s Armed Forces! You have witnessed the neglect of the rulers and military commanders of Muslims for a year now. They call you to nationalism, such that you neglected your obligation for an entire year. You are Muslims and Islam is your Deen. Your duty before Allah (swt) is not confined to nationalist borders. Islam does not accept the idea that if the enemy bombards Islamabad, you respond forcefully, but if the enemy bombards Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, it is not your responsibility to respond. Islam does not accept the idea that if the enemy occupies Lahore, you will drive the enemy out at all costs, but if the enemy occupies Al-Quds, it is not your responsibility to expel them. Islam does not accept that you are responsible for defending the land of Pakistan, but not for defending the Blessed Land of Palestine.

O Officers of Pakistan’s Armed Forces! The concept of nationalism is a clear violation of the Noble Quran and Prophetic Sunnah. The Ummah is a single Ummah and brotherhood. Allah (swt) said,

[إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ إِخْوَۃٌ] “Indeed the believers are a brotherhood.” [TMQ Surah Al-Hujurat: 10]. The believers are one Ummah asides from all other peoples. It was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Sunan Al-Kubra that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, «أَنَّهُمْ أُمَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ دُونَ النَّاسِ» “Indeed, they are one Ummah, distinct from all other people.” It is not allowed for Muslims to be divided into nations states, and Islam obliges one state with one Khaleefah. Ibn Ishaq narrates that Abu Bakr as-Siddique (ra) said, وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَحِلُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ أَمِيرَانِ “Indeed, it is not permitted for the Muslims to have two ameers.” Islam obliges a single Imarah for all the Muslims of the world, with one ameer ruling by Islam. In his “Sunan,” ad-Darimi narrated from Umar al-Farooq (ra) who said, إِنَّهُ لَا إِسْلَامَ إِلَّا بِجَمَاعَةٍ، وَلَا جَمَاعَةَ إِلَّا بِإِمَارَةٍ، وَلَا إِمَارَةَ إِلَّا بِطَاعَةٍ “There is no Islam, without a single community. There is no community, without a single Imarah. There is no Imarah, without obedience.” Break the idol of nationalism, and remove any ruler or commander that gets in the way of your obligation. Grant your Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, which will mobilize you immediately to liberate the occupied lands of the Muslims.
