A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan
Met with the Director of Dawah in Port Sudan
(Translated)

On Wednesday, 27/12/2023, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan under the leadership of Sheikh Nasir Ridha, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Sudan, accompanied by Ustadh Abdullah Ismail, Abdul Jalil Adam, and Ihab Al-Nakhli, members of Hizb ut Tahrir, have met with the Director of Dawah in the city of Port Sudan, Sheikh Issa Hamad Adroub, in the presence of his deputy, Sheikh Idris Muhammad Nour, who welcomed the delegation and honoured them.

Ustadh Nasir spoke about the dire reality the Ummah is experiencing, attributing this reality to the absence of the authority of Islam. He explained the obligation of the Khilafah (Caliphate), citing as evidence the actions of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, upon the death of the Prophet (saw) and their preoccupation with the appointment of a successor to the Messenger of Allah (saw), until they pledged allegiance to Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, as a Caliph to the Muslims. Before Ustadh Nasir completed his speech, Sheikh Idris said: “Sheikh Nasir, we say it frankly: there is no state that rules by Islam, rather they rule by democracy... We know you well, and if you have a program in the mosques, we are with you.”
