Authority in Tunisia Violates Sanctities and Assaults Women!
(Translated)

Friday evening, January 26, 2024, in the city of Hammamet, a large security force raided the house of a woman from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, forcibly entering without permission. The police attempted to arrest the women and take them to the security area for investigation, but the women refused and preferred to go to the security facilities by their own means. They underwent long hours of interrogation, then were released to appear before the court on Monday, January 29, 2024.

- This authority, whose head claims to follow in the footsteps of Umar ibn al-Khattab, has not reached the ethical standards of Abu Jahl! The heavy presence of the police forces that arrived at the house were lacking ethics and honor, allowing themselves to assault women and shamelessly invading a house where the owner was hosting her sisters. Is this not a crime or at least a suspicion worthy of investigation and trial?!

- The sole reason for the police raid is that it concerns Hizb ut Tahrir. Is belonging to the Hizb and working within its ranks a crime deserving of raids and frightening women and children?!

- What harm does a legitimacy-deprived authority suffer if the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir continue to propagate their dawah?! And what frightens them about a few women sitting in their homes studying the Quran?!

- Or is it the old new approach against the Hizb? This incident was not the first and will not be the last, to prove that this authority is cut from the same cloth as its predecessors from the governments of misery and ruin since Bourguiba, Ben Ali, and Essebsi. Their concern is monitoring the Islamic dawah carrier, inspecting and raiding them at any time, and intimidating them and their families.

- This incident is not an individual act or a random security initiative; rather, it is a deliberate action and a policy dictated by the colonial powers from across the seas and implemented by the Tunisian authority against Hizb ut Tahrir in order to restrict its activities. Therefore, we say to this feeble authority:

- You are not on to anything as we know that your opposition to the Hizb is only in service to your Western masters, who are the only ones who have an interest in eliminating Islam from life and preventing the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate), a Dawlah (State) that unites Muslims and mobilizes them against their enemies.

- We say to this illegitimate authority to know its place and not be deceived by the temporary silence of the people towards it. We tell it that if its legitimacy is obtained through deception and evasion, then our legitimacy comes from Rab Al’alameen. In Hizb ut Tahrir, we have given an oath to Allah to work towards establishing the Shariah of Allah and uprooting colonialism and its agents from our lands completely. Know that your tightening grip on the Hizb and its activities will not deter its Shabab from calling to the truth, to the Deen of Allah, Rabb Al-Alameen, and implementing His laws. Police repression will not deter them from working with the Ummah to liberate Tunisia and all Muslim lands from the domination of Western kuffar who use you.

And let this shameful authority know that the roots of Hizb ut Tahrir have deeply spread across the Islamic world, and the call for the Khilafah has become entrenched. No oppressor will be able to prevent its reaching its goal, by the permission of Allah Ta’alah.
