On May 7,2023, a 15-year-old girl in America was found dead in a dumpster after having been missing for three days. While murder of young adults is not that uncommon in America, this particular case struck me differently. The various structures that are meant to protect Gracie and other young women like her failed to; highlighting the problems that exist on every level in a secular liberal society. (Source)

 The former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan was dramatically arrested by officers in riot gear when he was in court to answer charges of corruption and sedition. Khan’s supporters took to the streets, torching vehicles, attacking army bases as well as the homes of some commanders. The arrest and imprisonment of former Prime Ministers is not unprecedented in Pakistan,

Pakistan is in the midst of yet another political crisis. We are told that we must choose between the two main parties – and while the Muslim Ummah within Pakistan understands that they are both problematic – we seem to think they must pick a side.

There are Muslims who say or think that priestly worship, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan, is what is required, i.e. limiting worship to prayer, fasting, reading the Qur’an and praying at night, and not that enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil or working to establish the ruling by what Allah has revealed is what is required.
