In Light of the Failed Attack on Iran, the Muslims of Military Power and Protection Must Not Lose the Golden Opportunity to Force the Retreat of American Colonialism from the Muslim World

In strategic terms, the war on Iran is about Trump building a new unipolar world order for the United States, free of obstacles from the major powers, Britain, France, China and Russia. On 18 April 2026, in an article in the electronic edition of the Wall Street Journal, under the title, “Behind Trump’s Public Bravado on the War, He Grapples With His Own Fears” it was stated, “Still, Trump himself wasn’t up for re-election—and he thought a win over Iran would give him a chance to reshape the global order in a way he couldn’t in his first term, two top officials said.” The template for this new American order appeared in the “Board of Peace,” as an alternative to the United Nations, under the complete control of Trump’s America.

So tactical considerations related to the operation against Iran, such as seizing oil, preventing acquisition of strategic nuclear deterrence and controlling the Strait of Hormuz, don’t constitute overarching strategic objectives. Instead, strategically, in terms of building an unrivalled American world order, Trump works to ending Iran’s benefit to China and Russia, by forcing Iran to become a state that is subordinate to the US alone, projecting victory over Iran to send a threatening message to the stronger major powers, and reasserting the petrodollar international trade, in the face of attempts by some states to circumvent it.

However, Trump failed to deliver a lightening victory due to fierce, brave and intelligent resistance from the Muslims of Iran, embarrassing the myth of American invincibility in the process. Trump’s granting of deadlines and ceasefires, as well as their renewal and extension, evidence his inability to achieve a decisive military victory. No amount of firing and sidelining American generals can cover up his personal failure.

So, Trump then busied himself to achieve a strategic victory on the negotiation table, through cunning and deception. Even in this he appeared weak, as he has had to depend on some of the most lowly, servile and visionless rulers in the Muslim World, the rulers of Pakistan. As for Trump’s Board of Peace, it is reduced from being a grand alternative to the United Nations, to a pitiful pipeline to funnel the oil and gas wealth of the Ummah in the Gulf, through the traitorous rulers of the Gulf, into the pockets of the Jewish entity.

At this critical junction, if Iran does not fall in the trap of negotiations, it will be yet another huge slap in the face of Trump. Trump tried to make Iran a subordinate state, after it had been a state within the orbit of US foreign policy. By refusing negotiations, Iran would have raised itself to becoming an independent state in a more permanent manner. However, may Allah (swt) forbid, if Iran does fall into the trap of Trump, then a golden opportunity to force the retreat of America from the Muslim World will have been lost.

O Muslims, and the People of Military Power and Protection Amongst Them!

It is known to us that most of the rulers and military commanders of the Muslims see no world without American leadership, whether in a unipolar or multipolar global order. It is also known that many, or even most, personally benefit immensely from the continuity of US colonialism of the Muslim World. Yet, there are sons of Muslims amongst them who aspire for greatness in both Dunya and Aakhira. Let these Muslims consider carefully what the Muslims of Iran have achieved thus far. So far, they have prevented Trump from moving America from being the world’s leading state within a multipolar world, to becoming the unrivalled leader of a unipolar world. Even more than this, they have weakened the standing of the US within the world. They have even given courage to weak states in Europe to defy the US, within limits. They have inspired Muslims around the world. At this critical juncture, rather than allowing the US to recoup its lost prestige, or even actively assisting it as the rulers of Pakistan are doing, it is time to strike US interests, repeatedly and decisively, in a broad-spectrum manner, forcing its withdrawal from the Muslim World.

The strikes must include severing all military, economic and diplomatic ties with the US, and adopting a stance of war with an actively belligerent state. They must also include unification of the armies of Muslims, and their paramilitary formations, under a single Ameer of Jihad. They must include pooling the vast wealth of the Ummah, including its oil, gas and Rare Earth Elements (REEs), within a single Baytul Maal (State Treasury) to fund the establishment of a machine industry, that can rapidly end dependence on American weaponry. They must include announcing a monetary regime built on gold and silver, to challenge the petrodollar hegemony. They must include severing all supply lines to American military bases and warships within the Muslim World.

No nationalist or sectarian state can achieve these substantial, world changing strikes. No state other than a state that rules by all that Allah (swt) has revealed can make these strikes. That state is the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. As for who will lead the change, the Khilafah Rashidah is the project carried by Hizb ut Tahrir. It requests military support (nussrah) from the people of military power and protection. So Muslims, support Hizb ut Tahrir in its efforts, whilst sparing no righteous deed of obedience to earn the nasr (support) of Allah (swt)! Allah (swt) said,

[إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ] “O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will support you and make your steps firm” [TMQ Surah Muhammad: 7].
