Uzbekistan’s Prisoners of Conscience Need Us to Get in Action!

On 9th of May 2024, Uzbekistan security forces rearrested 23 members of Hizb ut Tahrir. Between 1999 and 2000, these people were imprisoned, and then tortured for nearly 20 years in the dungeons based on unfair charges, under the cruel dictator Karimov. Now they are being tried again in the same way, under the same unfair accusations.

The atrocities committed in Uzbekistan throughout decades constitute the thickest files of human rights organizations such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. For decades, former dictator Karimov inflicted all kinds of oppression on the Muslim people, including mass murders such as the Andijan massacre. He imprisoned tens of thousands of innocent people, especially hundreds of members of Hizb ut Tahrir, under inhumane conditions through unlawful arrests based on fabricated charges. He executed innocent Muslims without trial in midnight operations. He murdered the prisoners under brutal torture, even by burning them with boiling water. Then he let them either disappear or dumped off their corpses at their families' doors weeks later. He arrested Muslim women together with their newborn babies. He ripped the babies from their mothers' arms, left them hungry and thirsty, and tortured both mother and baby... In short, he tortured Muslims in all kinds of ways.

While depriving Muslims of all rights, he granted privileges to the Jews living in Uzbekistan, by deleting their tax debts, granting them low-interest loans, selling energy such as electricity, natural gas and water at cheap prices to Jewish families and their companies, while selling it to the public at high prices...

And finally this sheytan in human clothes, who thought that he had bought this world's life for eternity with his cruelty, simply perished. He has now been replaced by Mirziyoyev. He promised -looking into the eyes of the whole world and his own people- to work for freedoms, democracy, and human rights in his country, and to fight extrajudicial executions and torture.

Of course, as a ruler who disregards Allah (swt) and His Sovereignty, he took over Karimov's legacy and began to continue the same oppression from where he left off.

Now, he has arrested these 23 people, who were imprisoned for 20 years under inhumane conditions 25 years ago, based on confessions obtained unjustly and under torture, with the same unlawfulness, force, and the same barbaric practice. He subjected them to the same torture, just like 25 years ago. He forced them to sign false confessions by threatening to rape their wives, arrest their children, and subject them to electric torture.

Human rights organizations documented with photographs the extent of cruelty, oppression and massacres in Uzbekistan, especially the brutal torture and massacres committed against Hizb ut Tahrir prisoners. However, these documents do not serve to change the oppression, but rather to report the efforts and success of the dictators in preserving the kufr systems.

Dear Muslims!

Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and East Turkestan are the most precious pearls of Islam and Muslims. These lands are known as the dome of knowledge of Islam. Throughout their history, these lands have been the cradle of Islamic sciences and scholars such as Imam Maturidi, Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmidhi. These lands became the gardens of knowledge of Islam. The scholars raised in these lands have been instrumental in keeping Islam alive and enlightening humanity to this day.

This is why the colonial kuffar have no tolerance for the slightest revival or motion of Islam in these lands. For this reason, they exercise their most violent and brutal tyranny against Muslims. Especially Uzbekistan is known for its privileged practices towards its Jewish population.

Therefore; the level of violence towards the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, with which Mirziyoyev got back into action, cannot be assessed detached from the genocide that the Zionists are committing against Muslims in Gaza.

Because Muslims in Uzbekistan, like Muslims all over the world, have clung even more tightly to the right cause for the liberation of Gaza and the entire Islamic world. And just like Muslims all over the world, they too call for the radical remedy as commanded by Allah (swt). This poses a great threat and danger to the Zionist serving capitalists.

As you can see, the colonialist, Zionist servant capitalist order and its rhetoric about democracy, freedoms and human rights, its laws and principles, its international agreements and legal systems are nothing but empty illusions. These are merely the criteria determined by the colonialist West to select soulless and obedient dictators who will devote themselves unconditionally to the oppression of Muslims.

However, there is a truth that these Zionist servant colonialists and their agents and puppet rulers refuse to accept:

They are only speeding up their own end with their atrocities. They are only strengthening the Muslims' faith in the promise of Allah (swt) with their atrocities. Thanks to these atrocities they commit, they make the Muslims to hold on to their cause more consciously, and they cause more and more Muslims, even non-Muslims, to desire the rule of Islam.

This is already a truth promised by Allah (swt). And Allah keeps His promise.

[إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ]

“Surely the disbelievers spend their wealth to hinder others from the Path of Allah. They will continue to spend to the point of regret. Then they will be defeated and the disbelievers will be driven into Hell.” [Al-Anfal 36]

O Muslims!

[وَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ]

“Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are true believers.” [Aal-i Imran 139]

We must get in action now for Uzbekistan's Prisoners of Conscience and all Muslims! But not just any action:

First of all: In order to end the domination of the zionist serving, colonial capitalism in Uzbekistan, Gaza and across the world, hold on tightly to the rope of Allah. Then spread the news about these atrocities to everyone! And invite them to the only solution that will end these oppressions once and for all! And that solution is the establishment of the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the Method of Prophethood, which is the promise of Allah and the Glad Tidings of His Messenger (saw). Work to make the Islamic order predominant upon this world again, and invite people to do so!

For it is for sure:

[وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ] “Victory comes only from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise!” [Aal-i Imran 126]
