Iran Is in Between Subordination to the US and True Independence through Islam
News:
On 12 April 2026, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported, “In the negotiation room, the Americans intended to achieve goals that they failed to achieve by the war against Iran, including the issue of the Strait of Hormuz and the removal of nuclear materials from the country, but the Iranian delegation thwarted that effort.”
Comment:
Although the Muslims of Iran are not out of danger yet, their refusal to compromise on the issue of nuclear capability and the Strait of Hormuz prevents greater danger, by the Permission of Allah (swt). As for the style of negotiations, whilst it is true that Americans use talks to gain what they can never gain through their cowardly troops in battle, they also use negotiations to buy time for gathering greater military force. Crippled by his own troops, Trump has mobilized his agents and followers within Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey to assemble a coalition of Muslim armed forces, that reminds Muslims of the coalition the US used to destroy Iraq between 1990 and 1991, where America fought to the last Muslim soldier, on both sides.
Strategically, for the US, the twin issues of Iran’s nuclear capability and its control of the Strait of Hormuz combine as a single litmus test, to determine Washington’s new relation with Tehran. Previously, for decades, the US has dealt with Iran as a state that orbits within American foreign policy, and so it never demanded severe compromises regarding the security of Iran. It viewed Iran as a counterbalance to the Jewish entity for nearly five decades, under its previous strategy. However, according to America’s New Middle East strategy, with a vast expansion of Jewish hegemony, the US demands that Iran moves to becoming a subordinate state, which sacrifices its own security interests to serve US interests. So, let those within the deep state of Iran be aware that the option to remain as a state that orbits US foreign policy is no longer on the table.
The US is no doubt encouraged in its attempt to make Iran a vassal state by Washington's dealings with its agents in Pakistan, which has a larger population and armed forces than Iran, but has walked the path of humiliating subordination to America for decades. American agents in Islamabad have overseen the compromise of critical security interests, including Occupied Kashmir, the stability of the economy and brotherly relations with Afghanistan.
Currently, the rulers of Pakistan have even ignored American threats against its hard-earned nuclear weapons, whilst it is expected that they will compromise over Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities, using the excuse of Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) to normalize with India, and on the claim of avoiding Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). So, let the example of the rulers of Pakistan be a cautionary tale for the Muslims of Iran. Slavery to the US has become a habit for the rulers of Pakistan, to the point that they celebrate any act that pleases their master, regardless of its costs to the Muslims and their Deen. There are red lines, costs and sacrifices for Muslims who resist domination and injustice, whilst the huge reward for constancy (ithbaat) upon Truth is with Allah (swt).
So, what now for the Muslims of Iran? The option of orbiting US policy is off the table according to America’s “New Middle East” strategy. The option of subordination to tyrants is the path of humiliation, misery and poverty in this life, and punishment in the Akhira. What remains is the path of true independence, which was paved for the Ummah by the Final Prophet, Muhammad (saw). This path is the path of ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed. This is the path of sacrificing lives and wealth to earn the wide Jannah that Allah (swt) has prepared for the pious amongst His servants. This is the path of adhering to the commands of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw), and abstaining from their prohibitions. This is the path of severing all ties with the warring disbelievers, including alliances, pacts and coordination protocols. This is the path of becoming the general leadership of all Muslims, from Indonesia to Tunisia, by breaking the idols of nationalism and sectarianism. It is the path of Imamate and Caliphate.
O Muslims of Iran, Hizb ut Tahrir has been in contact with you for decades now, and is within you and amongst you today. It has seen good within you, thinks good of you and wants goodness for you. Support it to chart a new course for yourselves and the entire Islamic Ummah, and may Allah (swt) place your righteous deeds on your scales of good deeds. Allah (swt) said,
“O believers! Do not take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Would you like to give Allah solid proof against yourselves?” [TMQ Surah An-Nisa'a: 144].
