Hizb ut Tahrir/ Indonesia Protest:

"PERPPU NOT ONLY ATTACKS ISLAMIC MASS ORGANIZATIONS BUT ALSO THE ISLAMIC TEACHING!"

The Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) Muhammad Ismail Yusanto said the Perppu (The New Regulation in Lieu of Law on Mass Organizations) Number 2 Year 2017 not only attacks the Islamic organizations but also the teachings of Islam.

"After the Perppu (used to revoke the HTI legal status) there should be no open preaching about the Khilafah. How can a Muslim-majority country ban the call for the Khilafah? Whereas it is the Khilafah that makes us know Islam!" He asserted in front of about 150,000 people in 299 Protest: Reject the Perppu and Reject the Resurgence of PKI, Friday (29/09/2017) in front of the House of Representatives, Jakarta.

Then, the mass simultaneously shouted: "Khilafah, Khilafah, Khilafah ..." while raising the flags of tawhid (liwa) and the black flag (rayah).

The giant liwa and rayah are seen to be paraded across the heads of the mass.
