Gaza Needs Armies to Overthrow Rulers and Declare Jihad

On Friday, 13 Shawwal 1446 AH corresponding to April 11, 2025 CE, a march by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia took place in the capital, Tunis, following Friday prayers. The march, organized by Hizb ut Tahrir in support of the people of Palestine and the imprisoned Al-Aqsa Mosque, was called for by the people of Tunisia, Al-Zaytouna, under the title "Gaza needs armies to overthrow rulers and declare jihad." A large crowd of Tunisians attended the march, which toured the main streets of the capital, Tunis, reaching Revolution Street. Banners were raised, including the title of the march, the main banner. Another banner read, "51,600 martyrs, 18,000 children and 12,000 women. What will you do, O armies of Muslims?" Dozens of banners were also raised, calling on Muslim armies in Muslim lands to support their brothers and sisters in Palestine. The march included slogans chanted by the large crowd, such as "The Ummah wants to declare jihad" and "The Ummah wants to topple thrones." "The Ummah wants to break the borders" and other slogans, most of which address officers and soldiers in Muslim armies, reminding them of their duty towards their oppressed brothers in Gaza. The march concluded with a speech delivered by a Hizb ut Tahrir member reminding Muslim armies of the necessity of supporting their brothers in Palestine after the overthrow of the oppressive rulers.

This march is approximately the 70th organized by Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia against the war of genocide against our brothers and sisters in Gaza, demonstrating that Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia is committed to the people of Palestine and that it continues its call to establish Islamic rule through the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate), the promise of Allah and the glad tidings of His noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
