The Women’s Section in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey Organized Simultaneous Family Conferences Across Turkey

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey launched a campaign titled “Islam Protects Family, Generations and Society!” Within this framework, the Women’s Section in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey organised simultaneous conferences across Turkey.

The conferences were held in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Konya, Şanlıurfa and Van, in order to draw attention to the seriously increasing reactions from the public towards the gender-equality agenda, the Istanbul Convention, CEDAW and similar international agreements, as well as the Law No. 6284 and other legal framework, which were introduced upon these agreements, and which all undermine the family, thus damaging society overall.

The conferences held in 10 cities emphasized that it is only Islam and the Islamic system implemented under the rule of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood that will protect the family, generations and the society.
