At least 14 people were killed and another six wounded when a mortar fired by Afghan National Army (ANA) troops hit a mosque in the Syedabad district of central Wardak province on Friday, residents said.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu met his Russian counterpart Lavrov in Belgrade. Lavrov said that he had heard "nothing new" at the first face-to-face meeting after the plane crisis.
