It is with great sadness that we announce to you the death of our brother, the Da'wah Carrier, Edil Beknazarov.

Edil Bayeshovich Beknazarov was born in 1977 in Talas Province, Kyrgyzstan. Our brother passed away on July 30, 2026, after a severe illness, to the Hereafter. However painful this news may be, we believe in Allah's decree and accept His will, and we say only what pleases Him: [إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ] “to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”

Our brother spent over twenty years understanding the Deen of Islam, applying it to his life, and bearing the burden of calling others to it. Throughout these twenty years, our Brother Edil was accused of extremism because he said "Allahu Akbar," or more precisely, because he embraced our Deen as a way of life. However, the system that has become subservient to capitalists has been unable to substantiate its claims throughout these twenty years.

This is because our family witnessed nothing but the noble qualities, sound guidance, and call to the path shown by our Prophet Muhammad (saw) from our Brother Edil. Our brother's image will remain in our memories, remembered for his courage, his eagerness to do good, his fearlessness in enjoining good and forbidding evil. 

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Kyrgyzstan extend our heartfelt prayers to the relatives and family of our Brother Edil, asking Allah to grant them patience, and we offer our condolences to all our brothers and sisters in the Da'wah movement. We ask Allah Almighty to envelop our brother in His Vast Mercy, to bestow upon him His pleasure and forgiveness, and to place him in the spacious gardens of Paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—and how excellent a company they are!
