The Jordanian Regime's Establishment of a NATO Office is a Crime against Palestine and Gaza and A betrayal of the Islamic Ummah

After NATO announced its decision to open the first liaison office in the Middle East and North Africa region in the Jordanian capital, Amman, a decision that came during the recent NATO summit in Washington, a statement was issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, which stated, "The allies adopted at the 2024 NATO summit in Washington an action plan to enhance the approach to cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa region to keep pace with developments in the security, regional and global scene. This plan was keen to demonstrate the alliance's commitment to enhancing cooperation with the countries of the southern neighbourhood by establishing a liaison office for the alliance in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which is the first liaison office in the region”.

In light of this, we clarify the following matters:

First: The events of October 7, 2023 CE, and the resulting real threat to the existence of the Jewish entity, filled the hearts of the leaders of America and the West with terror and fear and reminded them of the invincible Muslim armies as they smashed the doors of the capitals of Europe. This terror led them to flounder and to carry out actions and deeds that indicate what their hearts conceal of dark hatred towards Islam and Muslims, so they mobilized their fleets and planes in the seas of Muslims, conducted military maneuvers there, strengthened their military bases there with various advanced weapons, and supplied the Jewish entity with tons of advanced weapons and destructive ammunition. Opening a NATO liaison office in Jordan is not the last of those actions; they think that their actions will protect them from the Muslims, or will prevent the Muslims from establishing their Khilafah (Caliphate), or from eliminating the Jewish entity, and liberating Palestine.

Second: The functional regime in Jordan, which was established to protect the Jewish entity and prevent Muslims from liberating Palestine, continues its hostility to Islam and Muslims. Rather, it is not ashamed to declare this hostility publicly. This criminal regime is not only satisfied with establishing the Jewish entity in Palestine, protecting this pariah entity, preventing the Islamic Ummah from fulfilling its duty in liberating Palestine, remaining silent about the destructive war that this pariah entity is waging on Gaza, and providing the Jewish entity with vegetables, fruits, water, and the means of life. This criminal functional regime is not satisfied with all of the above; rather, it is opening a liaison office on its territory for the Western military alliance hostile to Islam and Muslims (NATO), thus challenging the inflamed feelings of Muslims in Jordan and the rest of the Muslim countries towards their people in Gaza and Palestine, announcing its alignment with the enemies of the Ummah without shame or embarrassment.

Third: The purpose of establishing this office in Jordan is no longer hidden from anyone, as it appeared explicitly in the statement of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the phrase "to keep pace with developments in the security, regional and global scene." Does anyone have any doubt that the security scene in question is Gaza and the destruction, killing, displacement and starvation taking place there? Despite everything the Jewish entity is doing in Gaza, it has failed miserably to achieve any of its goals in Gaza, and has failed to achieve any victory, no matter how small - as the leaders of the Jewish entity themselves admit - and in light of the popular movements rejecting the Jewish aggression on Gaza in the world in general and Muslim countries in particular, and the West's fear of a comprehensive movement of the Islamic Ummah, with the West’s despair of the ability of the puppet regimes in Muslim countries to continue to control and dominate matters, and its certainty that the Ummah is about to sweep away these regimes and remove them, and thus remove their presence from our countries; in view of all this, this step came from NATO, so that they themselves could supervise the implementation of their plans and protect their interests in our lands, and protect the Jewish entity.

Fourth: Islam has forbidden Muslims to establish military alliances and conclude military agreements with other countries, so how would it be if it were to conclude them with the enemies of Allah, His Messenger, and the enemies of the Ummah? Moreover, what took place is not a military alliance between NATO and Jordan, but rather a colonial means of the West to achieve their goals and implement their plans in our lands. The basic principle of Muslims is that they must not allowed them to achieve that, but the Ruwaibidah (ignorant petty) rulers in our lands insist on disobeying Allah (swt) and betraying the Ummah.

Fifth: It is the imperative duty of Muslims to put an end to such foolish actions by their foolish rulers who cling to their crooked seats (of power) in service of the kaffir colonizers, and for Muslims to carry out their duty in denouncing evil, and attention should be directed directly to those who have the power capable of changing this evil, and they are the armies in the Muslim lands. So upon you - O officers and soldiers - are the hopes of the Ummah pinned to lead it towards changing those rulers by force, and towards liberating the occupied Muslim lands, removing the pariah Jewish entity from existence, lifting the injustice, oppression and aggression from your people in Palestine and Gaza, and thwarting the plans of the West and NATO, and you are capable of that with the help of Allah (swt) if you are determined, and trust in Allah sincerely and manage and plan well, and the Ummah is with you and behind you, and Allah is your supporter.

[وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ]

“And Allah will surely support those who support Him [i.e., His cause]. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might” [Al-Hajj: 40]
