Hizb ut Tahrir Conference in the Wilayah of Lebanon:
The Khilafah is the Liberator of the Country and Protector of the People

On the occasion of the centenary of the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate on March 3, 1924, Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Lebanon held a conference in Tripoli entitled: “The Khilafah is the Liberator of the Country and Protector of the People.” The conference hall was overfilled with attendees. The conference program was as follows:

First with a fragrant recitation of Allah’s verses from Surat Al-Isra, recited by Sheikh Khaled Saif.

Then, Dr. Muhammad Jaber, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Lebanon, commenced the conference with a speech in which he pointed out that the real problem of Muslims lies in the absence of a safe haven for Muslims, their protector, and their defender, in the face of their enemy. The absence of the Khilafah (Caliphate), and that work is a cause to be devoted to, hoping that the next conference will be in the shade of the Khilafah and under the title “Empowering the Khilafah.”

Followed with a speech by Ustaadh Ahmed Al-Qasas in which he addressed the importance of the Bayt al-Maqdis from the perspective of the struggle therein between truth and falsehood since our master Moses, peace be upon him, and the status of the Bayt al-Maqdis in Islam, and how the Khilafah conquered it in the time of Al-Farouq Omar, and how the Abbasid Caliphate liberated it at the hands of the honorable leader Saladin, and how the Ottoman Caliphate (Uthmani Khilafah), especially Khalifah Abdul Hamid II, preserved it, and how Bayt al-Maqdis fell after the fall of the Khilafah. Al-Qasas also touched on the criminality of the Jewish entity in Gaza with the help of major powers and Muslim tyrants. If the Muslims had had a Khilafah, the Jews and their supporters would not have dared to carry out these massacres. Indeed, the Jewish entity would not have existed in the first place.

Then the second speech was by the Director of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir, Engineer Salah Eddine Adada, who spoke about the shackles of the Arab agents of the rulers of the Ummah, both individuals and powerful people. The Ummah is boiling and waiting for the opportunity to get rid of them and rule by Allah’s law, highlighting the existence of a general opinion among the Ummah towards accepting the Khilafah and its establishment, emphasizing the Ummah’s capabilities and abilities to embrace the Khilafah.

Then a video clip prepared by the Central Media Office and Al-Waqiyah Channel was shown, inspired by the occasion and linked to the events taking place in the Blessed Land of Palestine and the role of the armies.

Then Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sufi spoke about the role of the Ummah’s members, scholars, and armies, officers and leaders, in striving to establish the Khilafah state that Allah Almighty promised us and that His Noble Messenger (saw) mentioned.

In conclusion, the Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Lebanon read the final statement of the conference, in which he emphasized the Hizb’s work with the Ummah to destroy the idea and reality of Sykes and Picot that divided Muslim countries and prevented them from supporting each other.

He also emphasized the Hizb's work in the Ummah's armies and carried the project for them to carry out their duty in overthrowing the rulers from their thrones and returning power to the Ummah.

The statement also sent three messages:

- To Muslims in the world in general, and Muslims in Lebanon in particular.

- To the powerful people in the armies.

- To the Dawah carriers in Hizb ut Tahrir, led by the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, the honorable members of his office, and those working in seeking Nusrah from the armies.

The statement ended by thanking the attendees for responding to the invitation, and he also extended special thanks to the Hizb’s central media office and the television department represented by Al-Waqiyah Channel, for their efforts to make the conference a success.

We, in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Lebanon, ask Allah Almighty that these actions will culminate in victory and relief from Allah, with the establishment of the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, liberating the country and protecting the people.
