US Election: Democracy System again has failed to uphold the rational, intellectual and people right but favouring the emotional populist

Thousands of protesters dissatisfied by Donald Trump’s stunning victory took to city streets, from New York to Seattle.

In Manhattan, thousands converged on Union Square in a light rain and prepared to march uptown to the president-elect’s home at Trump Tower.

Protesters hoisted signs like “Bad Hombre” and “Not My President,” and anti-Trump chants echoed through the crowd. Police made several arrests. (Source: The Huffington Post, 10 November 2016)

The people of America, the nation of liberty has elected their president in the Democracy system. The system that they are proud for centuries, claimed to be fair, just and protecting each of American right as the citizen. The similar system that U.S continues enforcing other countries in the world to follow, as an individual right to choose their leader to protect the rule of laws.

Failure to uphold the system, was used as the reason to invade and topple Saddam Hussein in Iraq and Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. The system that is being introduced and once gave hope to the people in Egypt, to replace the dictatorship. Though the majority of people in Egypt have chosen Mohamed Morsi as the President, the same system is being manipulated by the US hand to remove him out. The “minority” that control the military power successfully played as an actor under the name of democracy in doing so.

Any country that did not implement this system will be forced to do so, as what had happened in the military controlled state of Myanmar. But now in U.S, thousands of people have seen that Democracy has failed to fulfil the voice of the majority.

Though Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, the results on 11/9 election, reflected that democracy has also failed to grant the right of majority people in the United States. The category of white people elected Trump as a majority of the voters. Besides the hatred, racism, sensational issues are dominating people’s mind and emotion to choose Trump as the President.

Democracy in U.S. showed that intellectual mind is not being highly valued as important for the rational judgement to make a decision. Morals for human beings ignored as well when the president elect clearly exploits women.

The chairman of the Nobel Foundation Board of Directors Carl-Henrik Heldin commented about Trump on Wednesday, “I see a movement towards right-wing populism and isolationism and anti-intellectualism. We move away from logical thinking and rationalism towards a very uncertain direction".

Neither Hillary nor Trump pose any benefit to the Muslim world nor for the regular U.S. citizen. They have to choose the worst among the worst in their democracy system.
Islam on the other hand has proven 1400 years and more in the history, is the most intellectual and progressive system in the world. The Khalifah (Caliph) must fulfill criteria such just, knowledgeable, good moral and others before he is appointed. The Khalifah will ensure the implementation of the divine Shari’i Law from the Creator instead of human made laws full with flaws and failures.

Each of citizen rights are protected. Any wrongdoing by the Khalifah will be judged by the Qadhi Madzhalim.

Should the people in the Muslim world or even in U.S. still trust the Democracy system?
